    Welcome to the Bachaco Culon Spice's website. We will experience a long and intense trip among our wonderful Country, beginning at the Capanaparo crossing through the Cinaruco & Orinoco rivers by barges, until reach the well named "Magic Land".

Our typical food is very rich & creative. The Garrido Family, from Puerto Ayacucho, Amazonas State, Venezuela, has kept through several generations the handcrafted production of this famous Aphrodisiacal Spice, made only with natural ingredients as part of a familiar tradition held for more than a century.

This amazing and delicious spice is called by the Banivas Ethnic Group "Catara".

In this marvelous tropical rainforest the Yucca is cooked and used in many ways, we produce the Mañoco, a kind of Casaba, special for soups & sauces.
